This is such a fun colorway but one with some meaning too

I named the colorway Dappled Things after Hopkins' poem

I decided to stop everything and dye up a new colorway inspired by the beautiful flower that is their national symbol

The inspiration came from a beautiful piece of stained glass that my mother made, called "Chasing the Brass Ring." I included a photo of it here. One of my sons did the other part. He chose the colors and ingredients for the art batt, using the stained glass as his inspiration, going back and forth between the room where I keep my fiber and the dining room where the stained glass window hangs
